We are thrilled to unveil the first of 73 limited-edition prints we will create for each of the threatened animals and plants we encounter in the wild. Each one will receive a dedicated piece of original art hand-drawn by Dana to celebrate its majesty. As a token of our appreciation, we’re offering a very special deal to the first 73 founding members of Earth Parade, who will receive a signed, original illustration in the mail. These are as rare as the species themselves. Anyone can buy a print starting today, and we’re offering all existing and new paid subscribers a discount code you can use to buy prints in our new online store!
We’re calling this the Earth Parade collection:
"This body of work explores the natural world through simple hand-drawn elements, playfully celebrating each of the 73 threatened species we encounter on our Earth Parade journey. It comprises a set of limited-edition archival prints featuring my original illustrations on museum-quality paper. Perfect for an office, living room, or child's room, this custom illustration is a unique art piece that we hope will add beauty to your space and connect you and your loved ones with the natural world. Each will be numbered and signed. The plan is to produce a limited number of prints, so if you love one of them, don’t miss the chance to get it on your wall! 10% of our profits from your purchase of a print will go directly to a non-profit conservation organization that works on the ground specifically to help save the species we are highlighting."
This first piece, pictured above, celebrates our first threatened species, the iconic monarch butterfly. A portion of the profits from the sale of this print will go directly to the Xerces Society, an independent, nonprofit organization that protects the natural world by conserving invertebrates and their habitats. This remarkable organization funds and produces some of the most important scientific research on monarch butterflies.
